Accommodation and levels of care
Ingleside is registered for 17 clients and our registration covers clients of both sexes from the age of 65 years.
Ingleside is a privately owned Residential Care Home for the elderly client, providing long term stay, short term respite care and day-care facilities. At Ingleside we offer a first class service and the highest standard of care to our clients with good food and a family orientated environment. Staff are on call 24 hours a day to assist and supervise clients when required.
Ingleside has fifteen bedrooms all of varying sizes with en-suite W.C. Two of these bedrooms can accommodate shared accommodation but can be used as single rooms. All rooms are carpeted and have television points some with telephones points. There are six rooms on the ground floor and nine rooms on the first floor that can be accessed by an easy operated stair lift. Clients are encouraged to personalise their rooms in order to create a familiar and homely environment.
Ingleside has employed an activities Co-ordinator who with the Manager arranges social activities
for the clients . Usually these events are “in-house” and informal. Outside activities are booked on a monthly basis such as movements to music, pet therapy and sing-a-long songs. The Activities Co-ordinator encourages clients to attend the art and crafts which are held every week. Other pursuits are board games, cards, jigsaws and bingo. Clients are also able to receive a manicure and hand massage every Wednesday morning. There is always something going on in the home such as garden parties, parties held for Easter, Halloween parties, gala nights and a Christmas party held every year for the clients and the staff. Client’s families are always invited to attend whatever event Ingleside may have. Birthday parties are always arranged for all resident’s (this may depend on the client’s religion).
We cater on an individual basis and can provide diets to meet your needs. You can choose from our menu or request an alternative if you require. Hot and cold drinks are available at all times and visitors will be offered complimentary drinks on arrival.
